Oscar-winner Cage presumably talked his wife into the name by not explaining where the hell it comes from. Luckily for him "Superman Returns" won't be out until next year. By then it will be too late.

For those who are scratching their heads, Kal-el is Superman's given name--his Kryptonian name.

Baby Cage's full name is Kal-el Coppola Cage. (The middle name comes from uncle Francis.) Awww, alliteration, too. For the kid's sake let's hope "Ghost Rider" does well so the Cages can afford a private tutor--or a full-time body guard--for when baby Kal-el becomes teenage Kal-el.
