If you somehow neglected to see Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace when it was out in theatres this summer, you'll have another chance.?Beginning on December 3, selected theaters in the United States, Canada, and Australia will be showing the film again for a special one week, encore presentation for charity.?The film will be re-released in more than 350 cities, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit a group of 177 different charities; the first time ever that allof the proceeds for a film run have been given to charity.?In other Star Wars news, it's been reported that Sony, Panavision and Lucasfilm have teamed up to create a prototype 24-frame progressive high-definition digital camera system.?The camera will be tested extensively for the next couple of months, and then be used for the first time in Star Wars: Episode II.?Source: IGN
