Thanks to ellis at geeknews for pointing this out: Lightflow Rendering Tools 1.1 have been released.?Among its features are displacement maps, blobs, environment mapping, and procedural patterns for things like scales and particle systems.?The interface for it is like povray (read: no point n' click), but that leaves plenty of room for anyone to write their own gui.The screenshots are amazing though - far more impressive than povray.?It's not opensource, but it is free for non-commercial use. |
