Censors Tuesday ordered two cuts to be made in the controversial Brad Pitt film "Fight Club" before it could be released in Britain.?The British Board of Film Classification ordered the cuts in the film, which had already sparked protests in the United States.?The Hollywood Reporter called the movie about illegal bare-knuckle fighting "morally repulsive.", "There are two scenes in which the board judged that the violence was excessively sustained," said British Board Director Robin Duval.?"In both scenes there was an indulgence in the excitement of beating a defenseless man's face into a pulp.?The board required that cuts be made in each case," he added.?The film has now been given the all-clear for release -- but it can only be viewed by movie-goers over the age of 18.?Of course the "morally repulsive" content and the violence are what totaly sold it in the USA.
