Also returning is David Dorfman, who played Aiden Keller, Rachel's son, in the first film.

Fresh meat for the sequel arrives in the form of Simon Baker ("Red Planet") and Sissy Spacek ("Tuck Everlasting").

"The Ring Two" is set several years after the events of the first film, where Rachel Keller and her son have relocated and begun a new life. ?Working as a reporter, Keller uncovers the news of a grisly homicide that she links back to the mysterious videotape. ?Just as the mystery is revealing itself, Rachel's son is hospitalized, bruised and unconcious. ?Now she must prove she did not abuse her son and solve the mystery before it's too late for them all.

"The Ring Two" is directed by Hideo Nakata, the man behind the lens of the original Japenese version of "The Ring," called "Ringu." ?It is written by Ehren Kruger ("Scream 3"). ?The film is due out March 18th, 2005.
