Artist Wins Settlement In What Dreams May Come Suit

Virginia artist Louis Jones said Tuesday that Interscope Communications and Polygram Filmed Entertainment Distribution had "made a very generous settlement" of his $2 million copyright infringement suit against them.?Jones had claimed that the filmmakers used landscape paintings that he created for two books in the Robin Williams starrer What Dreams May Come, in which Williams' character dies and goes to a heaven that looks like one of his wife's paintings.
