1st REVIEW: BOURNE SUPREMACY!!!

It wasn't attended by the director but we managed to see Julia Stiles was seated there at the back... Presumably she was taking a break from the play that she was in Oleanna (which is very good... Go and see it if you are in London).

Anyhow, I don't want to give too much of the plot away, but in a nutshell an important Chinese politician is murdered and they blame Jason Bourne. But Jason Bourne doesn't exist. As we know from the first film he's really called David Webb and he's retired and shacked up with Marie. Well pretty soon the CIA track him down, and all hell breaks lose and we're off with Webb (Bourne) and Marie having to try and find out exactly who is trying to fram! e him and why they are trying to create a diplomatic incident.

So what did I make of it? Well, I must confess that I really enjoyed the first film, it had a great car chase in it, and despite Mat Damon not being the world's greatest actor he carried off the first film. ??

The second film is hugely enjoyable and whilst it doesn't have the who am I? mystery element to it (we know who he is) it passed the time, had another great chase scene and it had quite a neat little ending that I shall not spoil.

Quite why Julia was there I'm not sure... She's in it a bit more than the last film, but she really is a minor character.

Score outta ten? An eight. And I'm not easily pleased!
