Wanna know what the new features of Photoshop 5.5? Do you wonder if Photoshop 5.5 is worth it the upgrade? Then check out this review from Egor (that's right calm down fans ;o)) Just Click Here

Just when you'd gotten used to Photoshop 5.0, along comes
Photoshop 5.5 with a whopping $129 upgrade tag. Is it worth
the money? I'd say yes, especially if you're churning out
images for the Web. Adobe has incorporated its formerly
separate Image Ready tool (now in version 2.0) into Photoshop
5.5. The two programs work smoothly together, although they
are still two distinct programs that you must access
individually.

Their marriage makes for lots of great new features. In fact, the
Save for Web feature alone is worth the price of admission. If
the Web isn't your bag, you'll find nifty new masking features
and other improvements that'll make your high-end imagery
sparkle. I was impressed with the beta version I tested.

Of course on a related note, I recommend checking out Gimp for
windows
, and I have to say that it's an excellent port of an
excellent piece of free software. FREE being the key word.
