Variety reports that Martin Scorsese hopes to produce and direct a US remake of hit Hong Kong gangster movie Infernal Affairs. Brad Pitt's production comanpny has been keen to produce with Brad also starring in the lead role. The original 'Infernal Affairs' tells the story of a police officer who is working undercover inside the Hong Kong triads and a gang member who has infiltrated the police. Scorsese has just finished work on Howard Hughes biopic The Aviator, with a host of new Hollywood stars playing 30s Hollywood stars. |
