All of the films in the top ten were slightly off (respectively, King fell off 39%) from last weekend. ?

1. ?Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - $30 million
2. ?Cheaper by the Dozen - $21
3. ?Something's Gotta Give - $12
4. ?Cold Mountain - $11
5. ?Paycheck - $10
6. ?Mona Lisa Smiles - $8.7
7. ?Peter Pan - $8.4
8. ?Last Samuri - $7
9. ?Calender Girls - $4
10. ?Bad Santa - $3
11. ?Stuck On You - $2.8
12. ?Haunted Mansion - $2.6

Editors Note - Lost in Translation has pulled in $30 million since it opened in September, but is ten times a better film than MOST films in the top ten. ?Bill Murray has been given Best Actor nods from the San Francisco, New York, Boston, Toronto, and National film critic circles; plus Indie Spirit and Golden Globe noms. ?It's a damn good film. ?

Go see it.
