I read a really bad review about Adobe's InDesign, which shipped two days ago.It lacks a lot of features found in PageMaker and QuarkXpress4 such as long-document features, text on a path object-level trapping control, mixed spot colors, automatic text run-around for nonrectangular images.?It also has *very* limited Bezier editing control. But it did come with some cool things, such as optical kerning that uses the space the letters take up, and not their standard size.?And it's scriptable with Applescript or Visual Basic, ick.?Will there ever be a real embedded scripting language that isn't scheme? And it allows multiple views of the same document.?You can get it for $299 if you already own Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker, or QuarkXpress.
