Writer Peter Stone Dies at 73

Peter Stone, writer of such plays as 1776 and Charade died April 26 in Manhattan.

He became the first writer to win a Tony (several), an Oscar, and an Emmy. He also received four nominations by the Writers Guild of America. His stage works include the musicals 1776, The Will Rogers Follies, Woman of the Year, My One and Only, Sugar, Two by Two, and Titanic.
