Rumours of More Super Hero Films

After the success of X-Men, the recent Blade 2 and all the expectations around Spider-man, here goes another comic adaptations to big screen. Just a buzz?

The Argentinean fan page www.canaltrans.com shows more news about comic book heroes becoming celluloid characters. For non Spanish readers, here's the low down on the rumours (between parenthesis are my comments):

Fantastic four: It'll be shoot by Fox this year, with a 200 hundred millions budget, starring George Clooney as Mr.Fantastic (no FX needed for the white hair), Cameron Diaz as Invisible Woman, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Thing and James Van der Beek (yes, Dawson) as the
Human Torch. Raja Gosnell will be the director (Home Alone 3, Never been kissed), Chris Columbus the producer (Bicentennial Man, Stepmom) and Sam Hamm the writer (Batman). No news about who's gonna play Dr.Doom.

Superman: thumbs down for director Tim Burton and Nic Cage as the man of steel, but Richard Donner is trying to make a crossover with him and Batman (too much).

Wonder Woman: Catherine Zeta-Jones-Douglas or our girl next door, Sandra Bullock.

Catwoman: Michelle Pfeiffer (of course).

Plastic Man: the Wachzowsky brothers behind, Jim Carrey (he's truly plastic) on screen.

Captain America: Tom Cruise (what about the hair?).

That's all folks, but PLEASE post if you've heard something more.

Editor: Mad props in the direction of Skullfire! Remember you too can submit a story to post!

For you Spanish readers here's the source.
