FilmInk magazine recently caught up with Director Joel Schumacher (Tigerland, St. Elmo's Fire, Flatliners) and asked him about his future plans. Here is a portion of the interview.
Filmink: "What about those Britney Spears in 'The Lost Boys' sequel rumors?" JS: "I don't know. I'm not directing it, so the director will choose. If she can act, she might be in it. It's not got much to do with me. I saw a 70mm print of 'The Lost Boys' at a film festival and it's very exciting in a visual way. That film was a real breakthrough for me, but I still hope to make my best". Schumacher confirmed the sequel is greenlighted with him as executive producer. |
