Empire Online reports that Lions Gate Films has given the go ahead for a sequel to the much talked about thriller last year, "American Psycho".
Rather than having Christian Bale reprise his role as Patrick Bateman, the sequel will feature a new character, played by Mila Kunis (That would be Jackie from "That 70's Show.") Kunis will play a college co-ed who was once involved with Bateman. After forming an obsession over a teaching assistant, she will do whatever it takes to have him. Production is set to begin in Toronto in the middle of May, and will have a budget of around $10 million. There is no guarantee that the film will receive a theatrical release, although one is expected. |
