Both Davis and Rothery said that they had been approached about appearing in the planned sequel. The two actors also said that production on the sequel should begin sometime in October, shortly after wrapping up the filming of the fifth season. |

During an Australian scifi convention, stars from Showtime's Stargate SG-1, Don S. Davis (General Hammond) and Teryl Rothery (Dr. Fraiser) said that a sequel to the 1994 feature film Stargate is currently in the works and will be based on the cast and concepts from the current television series, according to news from the Starguide Web site.
