The 1965 Aston Martin DB5 driven by Pierce Brosnan's James Bond in Goldeneye sold at auction in London Feb. 14 for $230,000, according to a news report from Empire Online UK. Christies auction house sold the vehicle as part of an auction of other Bond memorabilia, which also includes the white bikini that Ursula Andress wore in 1962's Dr. No, which went for $60,000. Max Reid of Sheffield, England, bought the car as a Valentine's Day present for his wife. That's one damn fine and expensive set of wheels. |
