To refresh memories here, Knight Rider was a crime fighting show (of course, its the 1980s) featuring Hasselhoff as the crime fighting dude and his cool talking super-powered Trans-Am code named KITT. Those flashing red lights were classic. Hasselhoff said the film would be set in the future but would feature KITT and himself fighting crime.

During an interview with late-night talk show host (and my hero) Conan O'Brien, David Hasselhoff told him that he plans to adapt the 1980s television series Knight Rider for the big screen. I remember watching that show as a little kid, and man did it kick ass.
