As a surprise to filmmakers, a New Zealand teenager has posted a video with scenes from the making of Peter Jackson's upcoming film trilogy The Lord of the Rings, as reported by the folks from the Kiwi newspaper The Evening Post. Apparently, 14-year-old Jonny Grindlay created the four-minute film using videotape footage of sets and photographs. And according to the report, it's a pretty authentic tape piece. The video, extracted from the sets of the highly secretive production, shows a few of the different filming locations for the multimillion-dollar project from around New Zealand, where the movies are currently in production. In some scenes from the video, viewers can make out actors and/or extras in costume, practicing with swords, and various other movie props and toys. To see the actual video itself, check it out here.
