The 2000 Emmy?s saw new faces winning over the old.?The West Wing graced NBC with a record of nine wins breaking the record previously set by ER and Hill Street Blues.?While newcomer Will & Grace gave the Emmy?s a refreshing splash in the face.?As fellow actors and millions of viewers at home witnessed the first joy of accomplishment as rapture and surprise swept the faces of Megan Mullaly and Sean Hayes as they accepted the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress and Actor.? Here are the major categories and winners for the 2000 Emmys: Actor, Comedy Series: Michael J.?Fox, Spin City Actress, Comedy Series: Patricia Heaton, Everybody Loves Raymond Supporting Actress, Comedy Series: Megan Mullaly, Will & Grace Supporting Actor, Comedy Series: Sean Hayes, Will & Grace Directing, Comedy Series: (pilot) Malcolm in the Middle Outstanding Comedy Series: Will & Grace Actor, Drama Series: James Gandolfini, The Sopranos Actress, Drama Series: Sela Ward, Once and Again Supporting Actress, Drama Series: Allison Janney, The West Wing Supporting Actor , Drama Series: Richard Schiff, The West Wing Directing, Drama Series: (pilot) The West Wing Outstanding Drama Series: The West Wing |
