Topic: Dtheatre.com Trainer dog: Will he be able to help your dog?

Trainer dog: When do you need one?

You know you need a trainer dog when you find your pet misbehaving all the time. It is sad but true, too much indulgence on the owner's part can spoil pets very easily. Hence, a trainer dog is crucial when you need to teach your dog some discipline.

As a young dog, you can expect your pet to be a little restless and hyperactive. But if your dog faces serious issues with control and discipline, a trainer dog must be considered. There are a lot of behaviors from which you can gauge whether you need a trainer dog:

  • Persistent disobedience from your dog
  • Lack of heed towards your commands
  • Show of aggression when you are being strict
  • Tendency to wander off if unleashed
  • Excessive barking and unfriendly behavior

A trainer dog will solve most of the above problems given a suitable amount of time. Now, a well trained dog need not be totally quiet or obedient but it must know when to obey its owner. That's the main purpose of a trainer dog.

Dog trainer: how does he help?

Many a time, giving in to a dog's every wish will make it misuse its liberty. For example, if a dog finds that barking constantly irritates you into giving in to its demand for food or play, it may keep using the same tactic whenever it wants to.

In other cases, a dog may exhibit very aggressive behavior, even towards its master. During such cases, a proper trainer dog can help it gain control over its aggression and allow you, the owner to have more control over your pet as well.

In general, a trainer dog teaches your pet to obey and abide by rules that are absolutely necessary. Such rules include time and place for toilet, regular food habits and exercise habits and, of course, obedience. A disobedient dog can be a real pain to have around in the household and a trainer dog attempts to solve this problem by teaching your pet fundamental discipline.

Generally, a trainer dog will have a specific time frame in which he will solve your pet's disciplinary problems. This usually varies depending upon the nature of your dog and the kind of training you desire.
