Train a dog during its puppyhood

To train a dog most effectively it is best to catch them when they are young. This is so because puppies are more eager to learn than the older ones. When you bring home a dog it becomes the centre of attraction for the entire family. Cuddling and loving the dog is very important so that it knows that he is part of the family but it is also very essential to train a dog and teach him some good behavioral habits.

The role model of your new family member is of course you. You are responsible for all the habits he acquires. It is you who will guide him to become a successful part of the human world.

No matter how much intelligent your little dog seems to be but he is still a canine, he will naturally have animalistic tendencies needed for survival such as becoming aggressive when somebody comes near to his food, he might bark continuously at something suspicious to warn you against the danger and many more of such behaviors which you might need to change.

Molding your dog's nature during puppyhood is easier. When you train a dog you can transform his character and temperament as well. Your guidance is something which your dog will carry proudly throughout his life.

Train a dog: How to solve problem behaviors

Starting to train a dog you might face several problem behaviors such as coprophaqia or poop eating, chewing anything and everything, barking on strangers, parting fretfulness, compliant urination, fence jumping, thieving, digging etc.

When you train a dog one has to show him that you are his owner and he has to follow your command. You can do so by giving him gentle penalty whenever he goes against you but also don't forget to reward him if he has done something good.

When you train a dog most of the time he will misbehave when something instigates him to do so, try to identify the source of such behavior so as to avoid similar situation.
