Joshua Cody was a teenager who finds himself under the care of his grandmother Smurf after he was taken away from his drug crazed mom. But he is about to experience another different scenario: he discovers that his grandmother, together with his sons, are a criminal syndicate themselves. Smurf has four sons, each with their own job: Baz, Pope, Darren and Craig. Baz is the money manager, Pope is a jack-of-all-trades, Darren is an enforcer, and Craig is a drug dealer. Things start getting out of hand after Baz's untimely murder and war between rival families set in.

As these things unfold, Joshua was found out by police detective Nathan Leckie, who tries to convince him to help them put the family behind bars for good.
