Software Television: No Hardware Upgrades needed

Many of you out there might have heard of the idea of turning a computer into a television. A software television is the thing you need for it. It's definitely a cool thing to be able to watch your favorite tv shows right on your computer.

Many people, however, find some hesitation when it comes to a computer transformed to television. Many products available on the market come in the form of hardware add ons, like a tv peripheral card that you need to install inside your systems unit. There are also tv tuner sticks that you can plug into the computer's usb port. Some even comes in the form of a gadget box that you plug as an add on to the computer.

The problem here is that people don't like the idea of having to bother tinkering with the computer hardware, specially if you're not the type of person who likes so much technicalities. It actually takes the fun away, not to mention the amount of inconvenience involved.

All of these hindrances are completely absent with the software television. That's because the only thing you need is to download the software and install it. The installation itself takes only a very short while, with no special instructions or configurations needed.
