Many things are getting smaller and smaller nowadays. It seems that getting portable is the way to go. Portable computing itself has gone a long way in making notebooks easier to bring around. Portable telly is the next best thing that comes at the right time.

What gives the portable telly its "portable" feature is that using a notebook pc or netbook, you can actually watch streaming tv programs straight on your screen. Yes, you don't have to sit in front of the television every time you don't want to miss your favorite shows. The streaming shows make use of the internet as its carrier, instead of the cable or satellite connections that ties down your tv permanently at home or in the office.

The portable telly may be portable in size and mobility, but don't underestimate it's portability. This is because it comes with a not so portable range of other features, like selecting from more than 4,000 channels, programmable settings, and shows that come from all around the world. Nevertheless, when it comes to cost, it comes down back to be being "portable". In fact, it's so portable that it's almost free! No paying of monthly bills, no subscription fees, no hidden charges, nothing!
