PS3 Blue and Green Light: Indicators you should understand

Sometimes your PS3 can act like it's weird after a long time of use. The power indicators would seem appear normal, but the games are not showing, and you can't play it. No sound, no video, nothing, just the PS3 blue and green light. PS3 blinking red light fix to the rescue!


To have a better understanding of what's wrong when you have blue and green light on PS3 but with no functionality, let's talk about these indicators.


The green light indicates that your PS3 is "alive". That is, power is present and it responds when you press on the power button. The blue light, on the other hand, is used to indicate the presence of a disc on the PS3 disc drive. You will definitely notice this because each time you insert a disc on the game console, the blue light would lit.
