Topic: Dtheatre.com Having Problems Moving Music from Ipod to PS3? Get Tips and Fixes Here!

Ipod to PS3, is Sony ready to accept Apple?

I read through forums after forums in search of good information on Ipod to PS3. It's nice having your PS3 music transferred and listened in through the PS3. I find that most people are having a hardtime doing this.

Sony even claims that it is impossible for the PS3 to play media from the Ipod. Inserting the Ipod into the USB port of your PS3 can also result in the PS3 not being able to recognize the Ipod, rendering it useless to transfer media.

But then again, there are some workarounds that seems to make it possible for Ipod to PS3 to work normally. The key thing is knowing which keys to press and how to maneuver your way through the menus.

Ipod to PS3: Some pointers for you

For instance, the "Display All" feature plays an important role if yourHaving problems with Ipod to PS3? PS3 does recognize the formats of the Ipod, because it would allow one to actually browse through the entire directory structure inside the Ipod. From there you can make your way in search of the correct folder where your music files are stored. It is good to note that musics, images and videos in an Ipod (and other most other systems as well) are organized according to folders, which means once you get the right folder (which is not that difficult!), playing the files or even transferring them would be an easy task.

If after inserting your Ipod into the PS3 results into lanching a game instead, just terminate that game with the Quit Game option and the X button. In most cases it will launch the XMB (XrossMediaBar), and the PS3 may be able to recognize your Ipod as a USB Ipod Device. Then you can browse your way through the folders.

Firmware upgrades are also a good option in some cases. This enables compatibility problems like file types and structures to be resolved through the updates.

You can look into more tips and step-by-steps procedures in your Ipod to PS3 issues through the PS3 Repair Guide. Good luck!
