Tim Allen portrays the life of a fresh out of prison guy named Tommy. A man who is ready to face a second chance in his life but still forced to live in a world of lies because of his compulsive liar sister. He stayed with his extended family and tries to make his grandmother believe that he came from France for the past three years. Being so pressured with his situation, he decided to go and complete his so-called two missions: that is to revive his late father's business and to find Christy, his former lover who was rumored to be dead because of an accident. Instead of grieving, he reported to his lady probation officer named Angela and luckily found a job in a popular fast-food chain. Everything seems to be alright, not until Tommy discovered that Christy is still alive and met again his old friend trying to draw him back in doing the same crime that sent him into prison.

Tough as it seems, Tommy braced it all as a real man making his name clean, starts to live in truth and tries to win the heart of his one true love Angela.
