This movie was based on Maurice Sendak's classic book. In this story, A mischievous boy named Max feels he is being misunderstood at home. When he was grounded in his room after rebelling against his mother, he set sails to an island to find creatures that are as wild as he is. Longing for a kingdom to rule, he discovers his fantasy come true in the land where strange creatures called the Wild Things were also in search of a leader for guidance.
