I think carrie and Big will finally marry and be very happy for a bit, and then, he will die.  Then, will grief-stricken, Carrie will find out she is pregnant. (She and Big had discussed kids and didnt want any, so she was shocked to find out she was pregnant.)  She has to decide, can she deal with her grief and raise this child alone and does she WANT to?  

She does. But, THEN, another curveball comes...the amnio centisus. It reveals that the baby may have problems. NOW, she has to decide ALL over again! Can she handle her grief, a new baby, and one with special needs at that?

Of course her friends are there the whole way supporting her, encouraging her to decide what is best for her, no matter what any one else thinks. That she is the one who will have to live with the consequences either way. (She decides to go for it, believing it wasnt really an accident after all, that God meant for her to have this child and that Big would have wanted it too.)

This is all just my own imagination, trying to figure out the story line. All we know for sure, is someone dies and Carrie takes it really hard. It doesnt say anywhere WHO dies. So I am just trying to figure it out. CANT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!:)
