Brian De Palma (Blow Out, Untouchables, Carrie, Scarface, Carlito's Way, Femme Fatale) is a nutty film director from the old school. ?He's known for constantly remaking the same damn femme fatale flick (at one point even titling a flick, Femme Fatale) over and over, for highly stylized camera and editing tricks, and for always finding a way to include a lesbian sex scene (in this case, involving Hilary Swank) in many of his films. ?Black Dahlia looks to have all the hallmarks of classic De Palma.
