Some SUPERMAN RETURNS Scenes Will Be In IMAX 3D?!

So, in an attempt to destroy all who attempt to open a film on the same weekend as Superman Returns (June 6th), Warner Bros has decided to up the stakes.  Already scheduled to open in a number of Imax theatres on opening day, it was recently announced that those Imax prints are now going to have certain scenes in 3D.  Viewers will been cued to put the glasses on during the flick.  Click on for more info.

The idea that viewers will be cued to "put on your glasses," reminded us here at the D of this awesome, Awesometown skit. (Awesometown is/was a sketch comedy pilot that was never picked up.  It was created by SNL's new cast member Andy Sandberg and his pals in the Lonely Island comedy group).
