THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS: Rocky 6 opens with rocky the owner of a small cafe in philly. Adrian has died several a few years prior and he has a new love interest a waitress at his cafe.
If you are familiar with the first rocky movie the waitress is the girl he walks home and he tells her not to act like a whore. They never really explain how rocky doesn't have to brain damage from rocky 5 that prevented him for ever begin able to pass a physical to fight again. he gets a few small fight and the Duke comes looking for him for the big payday fight against Dixon. The curret champ (who apparently beat Tommy Gunn in a rematch). Rocky is convined to fight again after seeking adrians advice at her grave site. But he doesn't win the fight he just goes the distance reminicient of the first Rocky.
