Steve Martin in THE PINK PANTHER Trailer!

Steve Martin will play Inspector Clouseau in the new "Pink Panther" movie, which will be directed by Shawn Levy ("Cheaper by the Dozen") and is produced by Ivan Reitman ("Old School"). ?The full trailer is online, courtesy of Moviefone.

Martin's costars include Beyonce Knowles ("Destiny's Child"), Kevin Kline ("A Fish Called Wanda," "Wild, Wild West"), and French actor Jean Reno ("The Professional," "Mission: Impossible").

In the prequel to the original 1964 film, which starred Peter Sellers, the bumbling Inspector Clouseau (Martin) must solve the murder of a famous soccer coach.

"The Pink Panther" is due out September 23rd, 2005.
