First of all, before you all get your heads shoved too far up your asses and run around saying "they aren't following the book, they're making parts of the movie creepier than they should be"... READ THE BOOK.

Second of all, how can any of you make a judgement that "parts of the movie are too creepy in comparison to the book" when YOU HAVE YET TO SEE THE MOVIE. That's like saying "man the year 2005 was great, except when my Grandma got hit by a tractor". You just make yourself sound even more like someone who should have been an abortion.

Thirdly, Burton and Depp have already publically stated that it isn't there intention to try to upstage the original, because it's obvious that the original, and Gene Wilder, are classics.

Now pull your little panties out of their bunches and find something more worthwhile to do than get online and whine about a movie based on a book that most of you probably didn't even know existed.
