Depp has covered such a broad range over his career. He is a fantastic choice for the part. It takes true-blue commitment to something to get the kind results Mr. Depp achieves. He transforms completely into his character without the arrogance of acting with a trademark that so many other actors feel compelled to incorporate into all their movies, i.e. an accent, phrase, look, etc. When Johnny takes on a role, any previous role he has played is nowhere to be seen. And that's very refreshing to me. He makes the effort to challenge himself. I have complete respect for Mr. Depp and am personally looking forward to the transformation of what was my latest experience, from "Captain Jack Sparrow" to this wonderful role. (I'm counting the days until Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3 as well.) I can't think of anyone better for the part. Johnny, you're a true actor and you bring fantastic talent to the screen. Thank you for your efforts.
