IT IS A REMAKE. No one is trying to 'fix' anything. As already said a completely different approach has been taken with this- get real, its Tim Burton and the awesome Johhny Depp! Whoever Nov13 at 6.09 said Johnny Depp is 'pure genius', he so is.
Whoever is having doubts about Tim Burton and Johnny Depp in 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (July 15th US, July 29th UK 2005) should seroiusly go rent some Tim Burton and Johhny Depp collaborations-'Edward Scissorhands', 'Sleepy Hollow'. Johnny Depp rocks in 'Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl'. If you haven't seen it why not! I have every faith in this remake, i am so excited about it.
