Yep, Bush won.  Us HICKs and religious wackos as we seem to be labeled sat back and watched Kerry/Edwards waffle,flip, flop, stutter and strutt and then you know what...we got up and voted. I am not a hick and I am not a religious wacko.  I am a single white mother of one seven year old daughter.  I am a believer and I want her to grow up in a country that is safe (as it can be)and is firm in the beliefs that it was founded on.  I belive in truth, justice (not only for ourselves but for others), and yes, the American Way.  We sit over here in AMERICA where the things we say out loud and in emails such as these cannot even be thought in places like Iraq, China and Cuba.  We cannot imagine the fear that these people have lived with most of their lives.  Fear for themselves and fear for their children.  They now have hope; something some of them have only imagined. Are these people any less worthy then african americans were 200 years ago....600,000 men died to free them...a newly formed USA was split down the middle then...brothers fought brothers...just based on which side of the Mason Dixon line you happened to be on...No war is good but sometimes the ends justify the means.  Only time will tell.  Meanwhile, Bush is a good, praying man.  We are lucky to have someone of his caliber and faith that cares enough about this country to serve it as President.

Oh, and for those that are headed to France or Canada or outerspace...this is still the land of the free....FEEL FREE TO LEAVE and maybe just maybe when you try to come back because maybe a socialistic choice was not the best one...maybe the borders will be closed and you will be OUT OF LUCK!
