Jewish people are both a race and a religion dumb ass.  
And anyway lets have a look at your reasoning here Religion is evil, thus people who follow religion are evil, thus Mother Teresa, Gandhi, Issac Newton, etc etc are all evil?  These are intelligent people you can't just say they were brainwashed.
The other argument is that religion is evil but the people following it aren't this is stupid much like saying that murder is evil but murders aren't.

And as for worshiping Satan some people do they are call Satanists sherlock.

Good argument "what ever you say religion played a big factor" well yes good point apart from the fact that it is the most stupid argument since George Bush got to tegether with Tony Blair and said there were Weapons of Mass distruction in Iraq and that they should invade.  Or to put it another way your argument runs I don't care what you say I am right, thats nearly as pointless as "worshiping a big guy with a beard who lives in the clouds".

Yes an act of brainwashing despite living in a commercial athesit state with little or no financial or social incentive to practice religion clearly all those Christains in Britain Spain America and which ever other Democracy you want to name are clearly all being brainwashed and left to live out their lives in compounds.  Explain why Capatilisim isn't Brainwashing by the same argument? Oh heres one, because brainwashing is an over used word to expalin away why people don't live their lives how you want them to.

Mind you the internet just wouldn't be the same without sweeping generalised stements such as

All Christians at all times must be evil (generalsied).
So what, all the rules a religion condones are evil, some of the rules what? I mean there are so many religions, yet you say they all have it wrong and are evil?
You can see where your argument falls can't you a Greek Pagan religion says there are forces which man doesn't understsand and they must be respected equally is that EVIL or just wrong or not even that, Quakers say fighting is wrong is that evil?

Your argument is one of someone who has watched too much popular history programmes and doesn't really understand religion or philosephy
