I sort of think it would be alright to have all 3 in the movie. I Agree that the plot and the story would be hard as hell to make, because how the hell can ash be involved?? maybe they could start with freddy needing the necrinomicon (if youve seen the evil dead movies you would know what the hell Im talking about) like he starts with jason to get back on earth,we all know this and now he cant stop him. so to become invincible or something freddy needs the book of the dead? so he can rule earth and kill jason! and ash can be there after dealing with all the shit he just went through he could kick ome ass.
