okay im making this up as i go along.

8 years after jp3- suppose hammond is dying of some sort of cancer, and for emotional reasons he wants to return to the first island. He takes his grandchildren, lex and tim with him. the island is now deserted, it seems like these three are the only people on the island. They drive (somehow) towards the gates of JP, and get out to  admire them, when hammond suffers a heart attack.It is clear he will die soon and requests to die on the island and requests the presense of malcomb and grant (and satler) in his final hours. Malcomb and grant come over to what they believe is a deserted island, and during their time there thery visit some locations from the first one. suddenly someone is attacked, and it becomes clear that the island is not deserted, in fact a company had discovered nedrys dna samples and recreated dinosaurs but because of the 48 hour date thing, the dinosours are diseased, human equivalent of completely pshcho and just go ape for the rest of the film (perhaps it could be revealed that nedry is still alive, or dogson went looking for the samples.)The twist is that the dinos were originally genetically modified to be aggresive and in their natural stat they are friendly, so jurrasic park is reopened.
