TEAM AMERICA Angers White House

White House officials are not laughing about the new comedy "Team America," according to The Drudge Report. ?The new movie by Trey Parker and Matt Stone ("South Park") pokes fun at terrorism. ?"I really do not think terrorism is funny, and I would suggest Paramount give respect to those fighting and sacrificing to keep America safe," said a senior Bush administration official.

Trey Parker had this to say: "I would ask that people wait and see it, before passing a judgement." ?But pre-emptive judgment seems to be this administration's pop culture policy--just ask Michael Moore.

"Team America" is scheduled to hit theaters two weeks before the November presidential election.
