well now that i have read most of the crap posts i can say that you all have missed the point of this
this is a green lantern movie
not a hal jordan movie
(he was the one that you are thinking of)
there are 3000 green lanterns in the books that can be made in to a movie
It is a frist step in getting a hal jordan movie
with the fx in todays movies we will see some great power ring use
and life for the green lanterns will come to the place we want.
most of you that have posted crap here do not know what you are talking about
this is not a comic issue
we all have had one before
so sum up and enjoy the ride
