This movie is going to suck... mark my words on that.  I AM a serious Batman FAN but will in NO WAY try to hope in a movie such as this to breath the type life into Batman that he should rightfully have.  I am a huge fan of Frank Miller's Batman comics I even have a rare edition comic called "Gotham By Gaslight" in which the setting of Gotham City is back in the time's of old when gaslights were used and The Dark Knight went up against Jack The Ripper (very nicely done and thrilling).  This film will in NO WAY compare to Spider-Man 2 (only in the fact that its based on a comic book charatcter).  Nevertheless I will go see this film and I do hope that I AM PROVED WRONG as I very much want the Bat up to par and holding his own as one of D.C Comics greatest characters.  As for the mo-mo who made the comment on Batman Returns being good... that movie was God Awful!  The Penguin was ridiculous and looked more monstrous than a very intelligent master mind criminal.. hell the entire feel to the movie had more of a "The Nightmare Before Christman" feel than anything.  I hated Catwoman and looking back I think that most people enjoyed that film due to the fact that they were kids.  The first Batman movie is a true classic and worthy of staying on my comic book movie shelf but every other Batman movie after that one (as if I really had to even type this, you all know deep down that what I'm saying is true... you in denial morons) was DANK and just a waste of a great idea that could have had loads of potential.  I think that its great that they are trying to start all over (as they should) but the bottom line is D.C Comics is in no way a match for Marvel (FACT) and the last TRULY GREAT comic book character movie that D.C has ever done was Superman The Movie & Superman 2.  The first Batman in all actuality didn't even compare with that masterpiece of a film.  D.C had better get it together but ALOT is riding on Batman Begins and if they manage to screw this up it will truly be THE END as fans are growing tired of attempts to bring the Batman to his rightful place of glory.  The majority of you people are like hopeless lemmings and not really worth my typing time to reply to but its a free country with freedom of speech and opinions as well and the above stated is mine.  So go chew on that and please find something better to do than try to retaliate on me and challenge my superior intellect on your dim witted pathetic and feeble minds.  Also, why resort to using profanity?  It just shows that as I already know that most of you are not able to hold a truly intelligent discussion without resorting to such debauchery of terms as your intellect and character are void of literary intelligence.  Arrrrg why do I bother?
