I agree with some posts that the new script sounds pretty good. Christian Bale is in my opinion a very good actor and has obviously been cast for the part on the back of his roles in 'Reign of fire' and more similarly 'Equilibrium'which invovled a lot the stuff that the new script would seem to demand. I do also agree though that Gary Oldman is not the best choice for a straight up honest cop, he'd be far better cast as a villan in my opinion. I am a big fan of the first film but agree that the rest got progressively worse, I look forward to this film redeeming my interest in the series.
