As I replied earlier, do you care about the commercials the kids were exposed to. I was more offended by the medication for an erection than Janet. All four of my girls were watching and one thought it was funny(12), two didn't care(15,10), one didn't notice (4). It wasn't an issue because I never made it into one.
Kids know more than you think and they're not as nieve as you think. They learn more from friends at school than they'll ever let you know about.  I have an open relationship with my girls and I don't cover up reality.  You can't shelter them their entire life.  Bring them up right and be there to support them and they'll turn out ok. Stop the drama.
