I'm sorry but if you are trying to reply to the guy that posted "what a waste" you didn't even take the time to read what he was saying - obviously the destruction of the ring caused them to win the war - did you see any other manifestation of the power of the ring aside from a bunch of over-dramatized reactions to seeing the ring and a disappearing act? I think the movie sucked! And if you are honest with yourself, you'll see that you hated it tool. thank God there are smarter fans then you or else all movies would be block-busters. - take a second to use your brain!
