i don't know what reflection the other dude was asking so sorry.
but regarding aidan calling her mother by her first name, i think it's because he feels more mature than her mother(scene where they are were going to be late for the funeral? aidan was already dressed and had readied and ironed rachel's dress??). rachel was young when she got pregnant (obviously...workaholic single parents don't look that hot do they!?!?) she did not have time to mature making a living for her and her son.....don't believe me??? trust me i know.
