Yankees need padding because they are wussies and Aussie Rules rules mate!!  Try telling some of these rugby players or footy players that they are homosexual.  Dont even bother asking them to put on helmets or padding they would just laugh at you.  All American sports are simplified sports that the rest of the world play.  NFL as opposed to AFL and rugby.  Baseball is such a poxy sport with no skill involved when it comes to placement or even facing a real leather ball like in cricket.  All you do is swing and hit as hard as you can and hope for the best.  BIG DEAL!!  If you can face a cricket ball from one of the fastest bowlers in the world and knock it out of the ground in any direction you choose then you have skill.
The only good American sport is the NBA.  And even that is dominated by the blacks.
