The thing most people don't realise about Beckham is that he is actually pretty good at taking the ball past people it's just that he doesn't ever bother for some reason (maybe because with players like Giggs and Veron in the team he doesn't need to) did you see his goal against Real Madrid a couple of seasons ago when they lost 3-2. He took it past about three defenders and then blasted it into the top corner. I still think Giggs' goal against Arsenal in the F.A cup semi final was probably the best goal ever scored, though.
